lyrics
Mutilated bodies lay upon the battlefield
Rotting corpses, severed limbs on scorched ground
Their empty eyes are gazing on the sunset with reproach
As the sky is getting darker and the wind carries sound of dark wings
Uneasy souls of fallen gather around their remains
Which become feast for the ravens
Their blood soaks in the ground, flesh fertilize the earth
Seeds of vengeance have been sown
They will rise strong and tall, they'll touch the sky
In their hate they will tear the heavens down
For the dead crave for vengeance, an agonizing death
Pierce with the spear, dismember by sword, cut half with an axe
For the dead crave for vengeance, an agonizing death
Gather around their enemies and drown them in their blood
For the souls of dead crave for vengeance
An agonizing sudden death
Rejoice in their suffering, make them wander without their goal
For evermore.

The pure joy of standing beneath these ancient trees, feeling the sunlight warm my upturned flower-face. The ecstatic freedom of running across the open plains with my tribe, footpads pounding the grass, lungs heaving, tongue lolling. The soaring feeling of my soul rising to trace the edge of jagged peaks against the sky. Whenever the mother calls, I will go to her; to the land I pledge my love, my life, my sword. Dave Aftandilian

If the band's ambition was "just to" reproduce old melodic BM classics like Dissection and early Emperor, I'd say it is a grand success, shit even the cover art reminds me of the "Storm" album... However, I wish this album had a bit more personality to it. These guys are from the U.K., after all. The first half is majestic, the second half a bit less. Still it's a very enjoyable melodic BM album. sachavonkarl74

No excuse, I should’ve already picked this up. When people can’t agree on what you’re playing but they know it’s metal, that means you’ve done it right. Metallurgical Fire

I've been a huge fan of this band since hearing 'Campfires', an album which I've played to death! This one is a little different in a way, and it took me sooooo long to get in to, but once it clicked, holy shit did it click. Sea Fire is an absolute banger that evokes sounds of Filosofem era Burzum and Mystifier to my ears...not a bad mix at all. I love 'Ghostly Shores' so much I bought the CD and the Cassette and now I eagerly await whatever comes next from OCR. Skek-Gra
